No.... Our founders didn't fight alone....

So my only option is to vote for someone that I do not want in that office. If that is correct would I not be doing what I always have done?

Here is the list of possible candidates for the Constitution Party, (see guys, I DO look at stuff! :p) pretty weak if you ask me.

Not a person in that list that could garner 2 percent of a national vote.

Every person on that list is better than Obama and Romney... You just need to vote for the best person for the job...

Making a case that the potential actions of others in terms of who they might support politically should necessarily determine one's own actions would seem to answer the following question:

"What is the definition of a sheeple ?"

I would suggest the following as a rallying cry:

"Lemmings of the world ... Unite !"

They have... They will be voting for Obama and Romney in November... And they will be proud they did because a third party could only get Obama re-elected... BAAAAAAAAAAA!

After 20 years in Congress and getting 2 out of 600 bills passed is a indication of what would happen in the future if he was to magically become president.

This isn't the first time I've seen this statement here in the soapbox and I'm sure it won't be the last. However, this is the first time I've decided to comment on it. Do you even know how ridiculously funny that comment is? Just think about it for a moment and let it sink in. If you are having a hard time figuring out why that statement is so friggen' hilarious, please, please reply asking why. I'm sure there a few here in the soapbox that would revel in the opportunity to explain it to you.

One could talk all day long about any subject but if you can't get anything passed, he would be no different than whats there now.

Really?

And those that hold their nose and vote for the lesser of two evils can be proud they did because that's the only way this lesser-of-two-evils situation has existed every election cycle. Good thing (?) we won't have to witness it any longer after the country is destroyed, huh? Elections don't exist under the situation that's coming soon.

I kinda agree on the Paul thing because of not translating a crowd into a voters. One could talk all day long about any subject but if you can't get anything passed, he would be no different than whats there now.

Well, obviously, being a socialist and getting 598/600 of your bills passed is so much better for everybody. Having socialists oppose you is a good sign. If the rest of Washington loved him and thought he was great to have around, he'd be one of them, and that's the last thing we need. Think Ted Kennedy--a consummate politician who had his filthy progressive fingers in legislation from both sides of the aisle. That what you want? That Ron Paul stands alone from that crowd is a badge of honor.

And there are plenty of things he could do on his own. If he's successful in not appointing heads of unconstitutional or otherwise harmful government departments and ordering all the other employees to sit at their desks and wait for further instructions that never come, we'll come out ahead. The office of president has evolved into far more than the founders intended it to, anyway. We need a president who does very little; it's good for our freedom. That's why Calvin Coolidge was one of our greatest presidents.

Really?

I don't know. A google has a stack of stuff saying the same. Here's the first one in that list.
Ron Paul’s House record stands out for its futility and tenacity - The Washington Post

So yeah....I guess "really" at this point. Of course, they all could be making it up.
Just reporting what is out there. At this point it doesn't matter anyway.

So what?

Is voting for the winner important? "Vote like me. Think like me. Do what I do. Come on over to my religion. Let's be fake outraged together. I need the validation!"

I first voted in 1975, and it looks like this year my voting record will remain perfect - I've never voted for a winning national candidate. My vote has never been a vote against this or that guy, and certainly has never been a wasted vote. I'm not a party-line guy, or worse, a single issue voter. My vote is my conscience.

The only party I believe in in the Tupperware Party. It keeps things fresh. And I like the burp.
