Try going to an AT&T company store not a contracted provider. The company store manager will usually get you the help that you need. I just went through the same thing two weeks ago as I had to get a replacement phone and the AT&T store manager was very helpful. All my contacts and photos were saved onto the new phone. Good luck.

Yup. Did that. A company store is the only one I go to. Rather dissapointed in at&t to say the least. Oh well. Better things to think about than this.
