Well I am waiting to unload.

On another hand side I probably should have brought my permanent resident card "green card" with me for the border patrol check points.
Which in my opinion are against our constitution that allows us to freely travel without being stopped unless suspected of committing a crime.

I also shouldn't be obligated to carry that with as the issuing agency suggest safe keeping those documents and not carrying with you unless leaving United States of America.

Oh well worst case I will be waiting for them to verify my legal status....
Hate to disagree...but you are within the boundries of the Border service aka DHS 's responsibility I always carry my ID aka Green card, as required by law. Remember a green card can be revoked for bad behavior.....you pot stirrer..LOL :)

I see your point. Wife emailed scan of my green card. Should be good for them for this time.

Also I'm applying for my citizenship when I get back. Been in the states 10 years this year. It's about the time.

Enjoying the warm weather in a mean time.

Although I hate to ask but can you articulate the law that requires me to carry my permanent resident card with me.

Not at this time....sorry...I know the Patriot Act gave DHS sweeping Nazi like powers in regards to the border and its {protection}....I just know right now WE are guests here until we become a citizen....in fact a mere speeding ticket could get you and I deported for being law breakers....scarey thought eh?....LOL

you too Kiddo......when and what carrier you starting with again? Averrite?....
I'm hoping averitt they're my first choice because I like the idea of regional driving and home every 5-7 days. Maverick temp control is my second as far as a third there's a local company that runs Toyota dedicated routes that's Sunday thru Friday afternoon but it's teams only
