Sorry to hear that, for me Monroe is my hottest spot, and most weeks I'm there a couple times. But I do go in and out of Windsor a lot.

@ the green dinosaur truckStop in Tulsa.
they have a nice cute 66 diner, and the food was good.
i normally go to the HardRock, 1 exit up, but they blocked the truck parking.
on my way to SanDiego.

We normally don't sit long, but we normally go to dearborn. We thought that being about halfway between dearborn and toledo that we would have the opps for both but it didn't work out that way. We took a short hop from there to sunbury figuring if we do that that there are less trucks and are now in the Columbus service center. We are #5 in line so to speak but are currently the onlt TCU truck here so hopefully it will be better.

Back home in Chicago (Joliet). Wife had a business trip and I tagged along. Nothing like a free Celebrity Cruise to innaugurate their newest ship the "Silhouette" IT'S AWESOME. Everything was free including the drinks. Left for Newark early Friday morning, left the port overlooking New York City skyline and Statue of Liberty and cruised along the eastern seaboard for the weekend. and got home early Sunday evening.
Work a couple of days and back on the road for vacation and business to Poughkeepsie, NY then to Allentown, PA. So hopefully I'll bump into one of my fellow expediters while one the road.
*Best thing about a cruise, drink all you want and not worry about a DUI, well maybe a WUI...lol but walking back to our cabin Saturday night feeling no pain...wife says to me do I feel the ship rocking, I thought thank god it was the ship and not me!

In Harrisburg at delivery point for a 7 AM delivery and then over to Mechanicsburg for a load going south to Winston-Salem NC.

That is my neck of the woods, used to live in the area....just curious where you picked up at. I've loaded out of a few companies in Batavia, and delivered into E. Peoria. Usually to Caterpillar.

I used to go to college nearby in Normal (Illinois State University) and would often go there when it was Union 76 truck stop.....I practically lived off their biscuits and gravy! Since it's become a T/A yes I agree it's a dump! The Dixie Trucker's Home further south on I-55 in McLean is actually nicer and better food.

Have a early 7am pu in Joliet, IL heading for Poughkeepsie, NY with a stop off in Clarion, PA. *very precious "white glove load" *no offense FedEx folks, in fact I'd call it a TLC load. Pay is real good too!

Sitting at home in St Louis Sunday night get a call for another hot load out of Missouri so out the door I go 100 miles empty to pick it up and then delivered in Allentown Pa last night. Sitting here now waiting for the call, it is noon time now and not one call yet, looks like I will start heading toward Ohio soon
