Sittin in the deer blind watching some does feed on the edge of the hayfield. Waiting for a buck, but might settle for a doe. Am I allowed to post on here anymore? Still drivin just not expediting.....

Didnt get that far when the customer/shipper was told needed more than 24 hours for 1500 miles they said forget it funny though they called back again tried to get us again to take the load with 24 hours or less said sorry dont think a team could do it in less than 24 hours either so guess they found some other way SBN says they havent heard anything more from that shipper about the load

We are at the Petro in El Paso off exit 37 route 10. We have been here since Monday morning waiting for a load heading north east. We had planned on being home for Thanksgiving and the birth of our grand daughter, who is due to arrive tomorrow.
Doesn't look like we will make it home. I am very frustrated and upset. But I know it is part of the business. Missing Thanksgiving isn't such a big deal but missing the birth of my granchild is. I was supposed to help my daughter with her labor. It is her first child. I feel like I am letting her down.

Aww - if it would make you feel better, maybe you could park the truck & rent a car to go home? [I'd suggest flying, but not THIS weekend, lol]
From experience, it's after the baby arrives that your daughter will need you, and first babies especially ignore the suggested date of arrival, right?
Hope you get there in time, and enjoy the wonderful feeling of having a grandbaby - it's lovely. :)

Well finally got a load pu tomorrow in Virginia and deliver in Missouri Friday 950 miles now just wonder if I can get lucky and get something Friday ???? ah well if not St Louis is only 200 miles from there might just go home ?

Slow day today. Only did 2300 miles. Going to get a free shower at the home terminal and hit the hay.

In Chicago now at E9..well Gary...at the Loves...TJ is coming up here as well...just hope there is a shortage of vans in service to grab one over the holidays...

I'm at Bolt Custom Trucks getting a new boot put on the sleeper, then I'm going back in service. Yeah, a weird time to go in service. I could end up being a genius... Or not...

No loads here....been in service whole time too. Can't afford to keep deadheading back to Michigan either. Got that load back to Wooster, OH and nothing....Willing to run for the weekend but I will be surprised if anything shows up today.:(
