Resting for the night at the pilot in Syracuse NY have a drop in Kingston ON and then down near Toronto to pick up a load going to Cleveland.

Crossing my fingers that I get a load to Florida next week so I can take care of a few more items on the honey do list ....

while crossing the 20 mile long Chesapeake Bay Bridge I could see the city lights of home getting closer and closer it made me think of the days of old when the men who worked the tall ships in the high seas would come home to their families waiting at the dock they would tell their stories of the seas and bring gifts from far off lands and have a pocket full of cash for all their hard work. Kinda like me I tell my stories of the road brought my wife one of those gigantic Snickers bars from the TA truckstop then her eyes get as big as saucers as I pull the wad out of my pocket thousands of dollars in fuel receipts to show where the money went and enough change in my pocket for dinner for two at the golden arches resturant. :)

Going down to Houston for pick on Friday Morning then headed to Philadelphia for the drop off. Feel as though that makes this week sitting I. Austin worth it lol

Been running our behinds off, not necessarily taking runs but did some truck maintenance, etc. In a cheap but clean hotel...I needed a day off and possibly witness protection! :p

That's cruel. I've been in Laredo since Sunday, and live an hour west of Philly. Save a brother a skid, will ya?

Lol I would if I could but I've been in Austin since Sunday morning. I don't live anywhere near philly tho. Stay cool down there
