Right before I backed into a delivery on Friday I got a Ph call that realy made me mad and was a shock. I got the call from Christopher Summers brother that Chris had passed on on Nov 5th between the hours of 9pm and 10pm Just collapsed and was gone. He was 45 years old. I sat there a few min said a prayer for him and his family ,then I hit the Qual Com with my arrival and and backed in. After I delivered I called the Company and told them, Becasue Christopher had been a driver for a very short time [with FedEX. There is more but time will take care of that. Christopher Summers funneral was Sat down In TN. He left behind wife Barbera and 2 children he also supported his mother in law as well. Sending Prayers and Blessing to them. Neverless I Dead headed down to Baltamore where I ran out of hours then Sat I go up and Went to the house.. Here I sit waiting for a load worth running. My Co driver will be in tomorrow night and incidently he left last week. My wife had her stomach removed on Wed and got out of the Hospital on Saturday. plan is to hit it hard thur will tell all.

Great.... the time away is priceless.....and this being my 48th. year trapping just keeps my blood flowing....got to talk to friends and farmers while out enjoying mother nature. ....Monday afternoon setting new sets in a 150 acre timber while the light snow was falling was fantastic with deer & turkeys just wandering around not bothered by my presence......

I have stayed at that Flying J on Front Street in KC. That one and the Flying J just east of Buffalo, NY are the worst two Js in the country in my humble opinion.
For better driver amenities than where you are, there is a Pilot about 19 miles north of you at exit 26 off I-35 in Kearney, MO. Also there is a newer and nicer J in Peculiar, MO which is 32 miles south of you at US-71 and J.
