Looks like I'm going to be off a little longer then expected to take care of some van maintenance issues that came up today. Hopefully back in service by mid week and didn't miss too much. Enjoy the holiday everyone :)

I just need to work, and ready to go.Joe got me a nice load last night, now in Buffalo.Was hoping for one today, but,....They were trying.For undisclosed reasons, my family has Thanksgiving dinner the day before the holiday...it's a long story....lol..Still trying to figure this one out...

Well, the wonderful folks upstairs came through for me this morning. I made a pickup in TN, about 20 miles from where I landed last night, delivering straight through to OH, about 45 miles from home! It was very important to me to get home, as January will be the 3rd anniversary of our youngest sons death, and the Thanksgiving/Christmas holidays are still somewhat difficult for my wife and myself, and being around family provides a little comfort.

I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

No not going to make it home, just be to out of the way. This drops 8am Friday, if it was later in the day I might have thought about going home but as it is just too short of time to justify it, thanks for asking.

Happy Thanksgiving to one and all! We all have much to be thankful for over the last year. I hope that many of you are able to enjoy this holiday with family and friends.

As a company we have done our best to get as many drivers home or too families homes as possible. But, as hard as we may try some will not make it. As well our offices our staffed today to service our customers and drivers. With that in mind our drivers who are up in the Taylor Mi area our invited to celebrate Thanksgiving at the Lakes of Taylor Golf Club, 25505 Northline Road, Taylor, MI with my family. They have ample parking available and a wonderful buffet. It will be open from 1pm till 4pm. Simply tell the hostess you are with Load One and they have an number of tables for the company reserved.

We will also be taking care of our drivers who are on the road this holiday.

As well we are happy to have any other expedite drivers (no matter what carrier you are with) join us. It is our way of saying thank you to all of the hard working men and women of our industry.

Happy Thanksgiving to the Load 1 family...
i must admit a week ago i was out west and asked dispatch i would like to get somewhere close
to home by today (i live in ohio) it was looking that way as of tuesday then to my pleasant surprise
i got a run back to louisville unloaded wed.nite and was home earlier this morning i dont say alot on
here but i wanted to say thank you to dispatch i do appreciate it.
