Just saw the new apparel we can order. Must say the first word out of my mouth was, Sweeeet!
Funny other then my first job a long long time ago, I have never gotten excited over company apparel. Especially for expediting haha. Thanks John, for making this a special company :)

This is the "highest" dock I've ever taken freight from. This was my short load (no pun intended) I took today.

Ok.. pom pom moment! How many dispatch teams could pull out an excellent run picking up at 9 o'clock on a Friday night?

Not many I'm thinking!

Heading over to Indiana to get 1 heading to Shelby Township.. :D

Well within normal pay range even with a long deadhead.

Well I'm fixed. Engine wiring harness repaired, and a new water pump while they were at it. There was a short inside the wiring harness itself, down by the engine just below and behind the fuel filter on the Sprinter. The wires wear in the harness, and laying on a bracket or some other metal shorts them out. The tech repaired the harness, put new loom and tape on it, and then tied the harness in several places away from metal. The short was blowing one of the ECM fuses under the steering column. It would blow upon acceleration, and then it wouldn't crank, nothing. It took nearly 13 hours, eliminating each sensor or electrical component that fuse feeds, to track down the exact spot in the harness where the high resistance revealed the short.

I broke down 6 miles from delivery, right in front of the entrance to the Holland Tunnel. It's an experience I highly recommend. Especially if you can do it in the aftermath of massive flooding from a hurricane when tow trucks are just fighting over who will come tow you out of there.

The folks in Dispatch, Caryn in particular, Vince and Matt in the shop, and Becky in admin, and of course John, all went above and beyond. I can't thank them enough.

Well, 7 loads in 5 days, isn't too hateful! And, I also had a Friday night 9:00pm pickup in ATL, of all places!

Thanks to everyone upstairs for keeping me moving. Now lets see what the weekend brings.

Got a Newaygo, Mi, to Warren.got unloaded, waited awile, then had dinner, and got back to the yard.Got a late night local, just enough time to shower and get going again....The load got REAL pregnant on me at the shipper...It was only 29 mile run, so I dealt with it....The van handled it awesome, but still uncomfy with those kinda numbers. It was alot of wiggle room...lol...All gassed up, and ready for bed, and hoping for something later on today to turn this week around.

Sitting at the Flying J in Greensboro, GA. This place says they have 189 parking places, and right now 170 of them are not being used.
