That sucks OVM. We are at the Pilot in Pendelton KY. We deliver in Louisville in the morning then load up and head back to Rochester NY. Then HOME for a bit.

Not really Joe...at least I broke down in a TS Saturday night with a layover spot and a dealer not too far away...and the breakdown was going to happen eventually anyhow....better at the TS then between San Antonio and Laredo with only us and the roadrunners...*LOL* I am pleased with the situation after all is said and done.

That helps to ease the pain, but, I HATE paying for repairs. Somehow I almost always feel like I was taken advantage of. Most likely because I was!! Good luck and I hope you get back up and running soon. I know how hard it is to wait on a repair.

home oos for a week and a half of repairs on the van grrrrr $11k later and almost all of it is emissions crap!

replaced the egr valve now the intake swirl valve and now the dpf

egr valve $550+labor $180
intake swirl valve $3700 thats with labor
dpf{like a cars converter}$3900 + tax and labor
so $9000+ for that stuff then i need new front shocks
still need to get a price on those bah

Not too severe...just a tranny replacement..tech said it was just wear, nothing I coulda done to prevent it @459,000 miles!

Will be rollin tomorrow again.

Warranty... 3 year, unlimited mileage on parts and labour! WoW

This dealer came highly recommended by Turtle and Rlent and they have not disappointed...

Holy Crap Dan, did someone dump the wrong oil in at an oil change? That would cause the DPF and EGR failures. A failed EGR will also load the swirls up with soot pretty quick too.

yup the steallership has been putting in the wrong oil but won't own up to it they said it was on the list but won't show me the dealerconnect list of oils i know quacker state and penzoil both make deisel oils but not low ash oil.

I would be all over Chrysler for this. I don't know about the US but the Quaker State and Pennzoil oils that meet MB229.51 are not available here and when I called Penn n Quaker I was told they were Europe only oils. I have heard of some Dodge dealers switching to Valvoline, who has a 229.51 oil but most seem to be sticking with the Mobil. When all this work got done what did they list on the work order as a cause? If they said it was build up and you have proof of the services being done.....Ya...something stinks here big time.

hey dakota, another new place.....tullys coffee shop downtown tacoma wa. no panera near by for thousands of miles.

biden is in town. tried to park in that hotel lot but enterred the wrong entrance. too tight. lots of dogs, cops and television news crews.


my gawd is the j in tacoma a D-U-M-P!! apparently every container driver in the area marshalls there for the next day loads. bobtails all over the front lot.

Picked a load up in Atlanta to Raleigh, NC, then before I even picked it up I was predispatched with a load from Richmond, VA to Memphis, TN. Now sitting somewhere between Raleigh and Richmond. Haha
