I concur!! I finally got a load picking up in cincy and dropping off in Atlanta on Monday. Not great but dang I haven't had a load and 2 weeks so I had to take it

That's right so I leave Sunday after the NFL games are over and it's not freezing cold or snowing 19ft a day

I'm at home. I delivered 85 miles from home and went OOS until Sunday because I have something doin' Saturday night. Just got a load for Sunday morning, 333 miles, delivering Monday morning. This will keep me fairly close to home for the upcoming turkey day.
On Wednesday I take my dog in for surgery. She tore up her CCL(cranial cruciate ligament). In humans it is called an ACL. Whatever, I gently broke the news to her that her dreams of being a dogsled racer had just been dashed. I thought "cranial" pertained to the head, but its her knee. The head I could understand, she's a Wheaten Terrier after all. I've got two bad knees. One worse than the other. I'm debating one knee replacement in February. Suddenly the dog gets first dibs. Oh well, priorities. I hope my knees can withstand carrying a 44 pound Wheaty up and down stairs.

Not always possible. The cost of vet care has gotten crazy.

My best friend and his wife have some kinda small dog that cost like $1500 to buy and if remember correctly they have about another $5,700 in her. I told them a baby would be cheaper lol

I figure hospital co-pays and weight of baby make it cheaper pound for pound than the 6 month old 2lbs dog.
