Windell: I strongly suggest that you get a copy of your state's laws on motor vehicle and licensing regs, and find the info that applies to your situation. Then, if you're challenged by law enforcement, [who sometimes don't know the laws too well themselves], you can show them that you're legal. And you can take the truck to a scale to get an accurate weight at any major truckstop, so you know where you are with that issue.

with the extra seats it could become a "coach". he would need bus plates for that. still a special license and a road test..
