I can't find the original thread in which Moot expounded upon blinker fluid [I think it had to do with an impending shortage, and hoarding], but I did find one

What an idiot, he didn't know if blinker fluid was real or not. That is why I take my truck to the same shop, they were the first and only shop ever to service my blinker fluid, and for only $200. The turn signal rotation is only $50 which can be done every other blinker fluid service or every 25,000 miles.

Don't forget about Blinker Fluid transfer pump...T/A charges just under $500, but man you don't want that sucker to blow on the road... I had that happen once...I thought it was just a fuse, but the mechanic said I just got it there in time before the variable speed switch fused.

Every 50,000 miles or earlier depending on how much idling is done, idling is really tough on muffler bearings.

Good thing you made it in time, I will see about getting mine changed as preventative maintenance next time, I don't want my variable speed switch to fuse. Who knows how much that would cost me?

This is an easy fix.

All you need is a left handed monkey wrench.

I found this while looking for the best deal on blinker fluids
it's one of those rare 100mm metric cresent wrenchs, along with the lefthanded cresent wrench as seen here

While i was at the store I did also find a can of the ever needed prop wash on sale

What was good about this deal is it's the high speed wash!
