No room for ice trays? Try this..............

After I put a couple packs of meat in my freezer I no room left for the plastic ice trays. I picked up some ice cube bags at Camping World. The bags make 24 ice cubes and take up a fraction of the space of a conventional ice tray.

How do those work? I have not wanted to put ice cube trays in the truck due to the mess they can make. Do you have to make the ice first and then put the cubes in the bag? I sure would love to have ice as there is nothing better then iced tea.

The bags look like a flat ice tray, there is a funnel at the top. Pour the water in the top. It will take two, one to hold the bag and one to pour unless you fill them from your faucet. For lack of better words, the bag is sectioned into cube sized sections. The instructions say to turn the bag upside down to seal the funnel but I fold it over and clip it. Then lay them in your freezer flat. Voila! Ice!
