Well folks up there in the great frozen north I would like to thank you for my new 09 we just took delivery on 3wks ago. I drive it for the city of Flagler Bch Fl. All we have are Sterlings which is a 99,02,we have 2 04s, an 07, now this beautiful 09. It is used for picking up recycle products and taking them to a recycling plant in Daytona. We ordered this truck in October just before the news about you all closing up there which makes this one of the last ones out of there. Its funny, I used to haul for FedExCC and was in and out of there alot with the Cat engines out of Peoria, so I knew pretty much where you all were at. Thank you all for this Beautifull truck, I really appreciate it.

From us freezing folks up here in the Great Frozen North, thank you. Too bad more didn't buy the Sterlings. I know many who really like them.

And btw, if you look on a map, some of you are further north than we are. Believe me, if we could be living in your warm parts, we'd be there. Unfortunately, it seems you prefer the Mexicans.

Too bad about the sterling, they still have alot of ford to them.I love my Sterling. But parts are already becoming scarce for them, and expensive.I was backed into at the Flying J in Indy, where the only thing damaged was my drivers side mirror assembly.Price for the whole assembly, arms, both power mirrors, and brackets, which is only available as one, was $1, 250.00 ouch! Thank god the company who the driver was leased to paid the bill quickly.I got lucky, I guess.
