Mike,
You have a good knack for taking pictures and thanks for sharing them. What type of camera are you using?

Thanks guys I appreciate the feedback but thats what I love about digital, take 200 shots 1 will come out decent. :p
John these were shot with a Canon 400D (XTI) using a 28-135mm IS USM lens from Canon.
Sorry about the blur in the night shots but my darn tripod broke and had to hand hold the shots (not a good idea).

Mike,

Will you be at the Expo? We would love to have you take a picture of our truck that could be used on a business card if you are at all interested. Your pictures make everything look really good.

Wow thanks for all the kudos..
Jim they were all from the USA side, was going to get a sunrise from the Canada side but got a load and had to go.
Bob and Linda it would be my honor and I will try to be there.
Again thanks for all the feedback it made my day.
If you ever find yourself going across Canada (East) and a day to kill I highly recommend exiting at Livingston, take 190 south to NY-62 towards the Falls and follow it West till you get to the Niagra Bridge crossing
on the right you will see a gravel lot for paid parking where you can pull in and right across the street is a Days Inn that will pay for your parking with a nights stay.
The Days is antiquated at worst but at a $100 a night isn't a bad deal when you consider they take care of the parking and you are walking distance to the Falls.
And for you daring types you are a 200 yds from the Canadian side of some really great views and the border crossing on foot only requires .50 and a picture ID.

The Canada Side RE: Niagra Falls today including s

Yes; very nice pictures of The Falls.
The Rainbow Bridge is non commercial and I don't know the regulations or how they would interpret an empty truck. The Queenston Lewiston Bridge is a truck bridge of course and you could take Stanley Avenue back to NF Canada. There is very little vehicle access on the Canadian side of the Falls; but plenty of places to park up on Lundy's Lane (ON Hwy 20). There are shuttle buses down to the tourist areas.

Thanks Rob!
I was wishing I had your personal number on my way to Lewiston..
I asked on the CB and a driver told me to go to Greer (?)
Said there was a Fifth wheel truck stop within walking distance of the falls but being I wanted to squat a day we went to the US side.

sunshine to all:* great shots looks like you were on goat island. I went to an all girls school that overlooked the falls. There is a picnic, swim area called Duffern Park on the Canadian side if you ever get back. Don't remember any trucks stop in area though on either side.

Diane and I are delivering within a couple of hours of the Falls, and will have some time to spare before deadheading to our Monday pickup. The weather forcast is favorable. Do you have any truck parking info to share?

Boy, this time of the year it may be different, but, i was just there at the end of april and i parked my d unit in the lot right behind the Skylon tower. It was fantastic! not more than a few hundred yards from the fall's. I take my daughter there every year at Christmas break and spend new years eve down in Victoria's garden. I love it!
