Newt Gingrich wins South Carolina

"Well I don't and I would have a very hard time voting for him because I don't see his imperfections of his screwing his wife over as an issue as much as other things that show me he has little leadership qualities that we need."

I thought that leadership was not important? The best thing than can happen is that EVERY candidate running LOSES! That includes the general elections. They are all lacking, some more than others, but there is not a leader in the bunch. There is little USEFUL experience in the bunch either. Why don't they all just fade away?

I have no use for Newt, having said that, the debates between Newt and Barry would be fun to watch! I want to ask the questions. When I got done asking them they would, without a doubt, both lose! :p

Good point. We need a binding None Of The Above option on all ballots, mandatory. If NOTA wins, even by a plurality, every one of the candidates is disqualified and voting is rescheduled. It's kind of like Kevin Rutherford's plan of buying a truck: you don't look for one with the idea of approving it; you look with the goal of eliminating out because of its flaws, and you buy the one you can't eliminate.

If you have no use for him, why are you calling him by his first name?

To me he is not worth the respect to make him personable in my mind, he is gingrich, not the speaker definitely not newt - to insulting to fig newtons

As for debating, I would like to see Marco Rubio or Ron Paul get on stage with Obama but no matter who it is, they will have a problem with a sitting president who has already started campaigning.

I never heard Rubio debate, Paul has no "fire" when he speaks.

When did Obama ever STOP campaigning? He never STARTED being a president! I would LOVE to take him on!

I used "newt" because it requires less typing gingrich.

Why don't they ALL just fade away?

Newt is showing great leadership potential. A good leader must be willing to incorporate good ideas regardless of their origin. Example, Newt recently stole Ron Paul's mantra about auditing the Federal Reserve. If Mitt Romney could offer some solid ideas, they would be taken as well. Unfortunately, Romney plays it too safe and doesn't offer new thinking. Newt is adept at absorbing applause lines.

If Big Money takes the nomination, we'll get Mitt Romney.
If audacity takes the nomination, we'll get Newt.

Angry fat guys should be a natural voting bloc for Newt. Womanizers, too.
... maybe Newt can win, after all.

When?

I think his leadership potential is lost to the ages. I'm listening to Rush and almost p*ssed my pants over his comment which mildly sounded like this one.

It comes down to the republican party has no one that can beat Obama unless the economy dumps and it looks like it won't.

They won't take a chance on a candidate who is speaking to people who they need to convince to vote for a republican and they continue to lose sight of what the tea party is to those who follow it at the same time conservatism continues to hijack libertarianism with those far right wing religious types demanding social political intervention on issues that are not important to the rest of the country.

NO candidate, Republican OR Democrat, has shown ANY leadership ability. Not one.

Can 'em all and start over time, before it is too late.
