One thing is for certain: Environmentalists will NEVER be happy with the oil companies. They compalin about the pollution. Then they complain about the oil companies getting a tax credit for trying to do something about the pollution. You're damned if you do, and damned if you don't!

I dont see where bio diesel is going to help the trucking business,if it gets mixed into diesel, there will be a charge for that, price will go up,you want to save money, just slow down
actually there should be a discount on blended biodiesel. it should be 1 penny for the percentage of bio in the fuel. b11 is 11 cents cheaper than regular d2. it is an energy credit to biodiesel manufacturers that went thru congress last year. you might not see much more than b20 anywhere and at the citgo on 41 in wadsworth ill i go to it is b11 and a non citgo product. runs well in my car. it is not really intended to replace diesel completely just a filler to extend the supply.
biodiesel by nature because it has so much oxygen burns cleaner and lubes the parts that need lubing but has about 20% less energy than a gallon of d2. that also means less mileage per tank in larger blends. in a b11 blend it is hardly noticeable and is just another additive like adding power service.
