The wife and I want to be able to purchase our own straight truck after we work for an owner to get to know the business of expediting. We both have our class a license. She has 2 years I have 24. We currently team together with our current employer . Any information as to how to get started is welcomed.

Straight is the way to go. Contact Brian at Load 1 and ask if he has any Str8 owners looking for a team. After that try Bolt or FedEx CC or Panther. L1 is a primo outfit but any of the big guns can (possibly) hook you up with an owner to research further.
