New York Post and Foxnews.com 1500 New York CIty teachers are paid by taxpayers while missing class to do union business costing the taxpayers $9 million dollars. Unions ripping off the taxpayer thru this deal those on the school board that agreed to this deal should resign and this deal should be cancelled

Public funds should NEVER be used like that. Union business should be done on those teachers OWN time, or not at all. Teachers should NOT have a union. This is getting out of hand.

You probably don't want to watch the documentary "Waiting for Superman" layout. I don't think your heart could take it :p

I have no idea what you are speaking of. All I know is that public money should NOT be used to fund union activity. My heart is done anyway. Good thing I am 60. I don't want to see this country in 20 years. It will NOT be pretty if we keep going down this path.

Besides, I don't put much stock in "documentaries" these days. Most I have bothered to watch, no matter which side they come from, are nothing more than agenda boosters.

You might feel different at 79 :p

You may be right but somehow I don't think I will ever see 79. I think I will be part of the generation that does NOT outlive their parents age. My Dad is 88. I doubt I will make that or even close.

Typical of union thugs and bums and people wonder why unions are looked down on so intensely.

IF those union teachers had the kids first they would NOT WANT that money going to union activities. They would want that money to go to the students. I guess you can see where their priorities lie.

They are in cahoots with King Putz the 1st. Any bets that MOST of the so called "stimulus" money went to "public" agencies, union agencies, like teachers.

Ever heard of "under the table" or "back room deals" While I too put most of the blame on voters for continuing to vote in the same scum, the people don't always know just how corrupt the politicians are. I mean, it is not like we have a free unbiased press to expose them.
