I noticed a trend toward the freightliner buisiness class trucks and some hino trucks. I have used a rental hino truck the factory seat bounced my head off the ceiling several times:eek:, it did have decent horsepower it was a 24' strt truck, no sleeper.
Is it for fuel mileage, service availability, cost of truck ? I see alot leaning towards automatic transmissions too, I prer a stick. I like kw's and petes better I guess I like the style better. I guess they give me a taste of the big truck styling.
If you was looking at a new truck or gently used one what would you prefer and why? I'm talking d class unit 33,000lb with a decent sized sleeper and a pro heat or rigmaster, around 300 hp.
If I was to spec out a truck saw a t 300 kw 24' box and ect from above what should I expect in cost?
Sorry this was a lil long winded ........

I think it would be helpful to know what your planning to do with it. If you are going to expedite with it who will you run for? With a 24 foot cargo box you limit your sleeper size, but gain some in what loads you can carry.

Can't go wrong with a KW married with a Cummins.

KW with a Dyno, ECM check, and a check of ALL FLUIDS through a Lab, than and only than after the results proved the truck was in great shape I would narrow it down to a KW. for class 7. I am biased, even though my KW gave me some problems just could not consider anything else in class 7 class 8 opens up another gate, right Bob.
