I've see so many pour bucks and bucks into toys and this and that and the truck/van isn't even close to paid off...why not dump the extra bucks unto the payment and get clear first...

I understand we live in these tin cans but some get ridiculous...

I will agree with you on the payment thing, but I lease so not like I will be clear of it. That is why I am not lookng to spend a ton, looking for a way that will make cleanup easier.
The truck I am ordering is purely a work truck. I didn't get the woodgrain dash, carpeting, leather seat etc. This is a basic International Durastar, heated mirrors, vinyl floor, vinyl air ride seat with lumbar(the seat International offers in these medium duty trucks and they are quite comfortable compared to the other trucks) bench passenger seat. The extra's that I did opt for are a 60x80 3000Lbs Maxon aluminum lift gate, translucent box roof, dual row e-track, forklift package with wood bumpers. and an Eaton Ultrashift tranny. This truck is very close to what you would rent at Penske except I ordered one without the side box door. How would a woodgrain dash, leather seats, and chrome help me make money.

Yes I did, and that is one thing that worked well on that truck:rolleyes: How did you know we deliver those hospital exam tables/beds? Have you been spying on me? I also deliver delicate lab equipment that are in rolling crates that take up nearly the whole width of the liftgate. I delivery a little bit of everything LOL
I had a ramp also, aside from helping my mom move I never used that or the side door. I had to cut the lock off, it was all rusted. I need to find an affordable lock that doesn't corrode, I bought masterlocks that I thought were good but they corroded. They were nice and thick and took two of us to break it off with the 4 foot bolt cutters

Just FYI, my wood deck is 4x9 feet, 36 square feet. I put on 4 medium-to-thick coats of Minwax Polycrylic. You can be very sloppy with this stuff and put too-thick of a coat on, and it'll still dry up perfectly. Meaning, you can put each coat on in a hurry without having to worry about runs, drips or errors. With good airflow, it dries very quickly. Maybe an hour or two for all four coats.

I used one quart, and had about 1/3 of the quart left over. One quart is $17 at Lowes. I used the Satin finish, for no reason.

Cleanup is easy. Obviously, keeping it swept with a broom helps. Once a year, maybe sooner, I'll use a stiff nylon brush and scrub the floor (without using a lot of effort, 'cause I'm lazy) with soapy water and with a dash or two of degreaser and then wipe it dry with towels. An hour or two later I'll give it another coat or two of the Minwax. Twice I've used the spray can version of the stuff, which also works, but wear a face mask if you do that. I used the entire can each time, which amounted to 3 or 4 relatively thin coats.

But for a straight truck, figure the square footage, divide it by 96 feet (mine), and you'll know how many quarts it'll take. Probably 4 or less.

It's cheap, quick and easy. A rare thing.

I like cheap quick and easy;) but I digress.... I'll look for it in a gallon container might be more affordable.
