I live in Dallas,Fort Worth Texas and looking to buy a full size cargo van to get started. Is it better to buy or find someone to work for here in Texas. Is there a lot of runs that i can do in or out of Dallas Texas. Right now i have a small size van and working for a courier company and not making any money. I have worked for a freight company at DFW airport but drove there truck for local delivery's and thought i could do this my self and make some money. Any help you could give would be very appreciated.

If you can get into a straight truck I think you will do better living in Dallas. There is less freight moving in and out of the Dallas area than the Michigan, Ohio, Illinios triangle and it's better to have a truck that is more versatile if you live further away from the high volume areas.

Just my opinion.
