Just out of curiosity have you been in the expedite business long? Did you move from general trucking to expedite? Did you read for several weeks, posts going back several years before you went with a van?
Just curious, it will help to understand where you came from to answer your questions.

The way Panther operates is all thru the pages of this forum....so the poster should have known in advance of everything he seems to be fighting the idea of.....

What they did wrong? Why did you take the pictures? It is not your business what other people do....

With that statement it is clear you did minimal if any research on this industry..Thinking that you are going to be dispatched within 24 hrs after POD on a regular basis while awfully generous of you, not realistic.....especially with Panther... Please don't tell us that you had no idea that Panther had CV's on every street corner....

As to way they continue to add CV's, because they want 3 CV's on every street corner... See their plan is to make money for their bottom line and shareholders, if you make money also, thats fine, but it really isn't there major concern....Just sayin...

Might want to be careful with ASSUMING. Case in point. Last year we had a load from a printing place that was two pallets of porn going to a adult book store. Paid pretty good too.

As for vans on every corner, sure there is. Most carriers make money off them whether they are moving or not.

If you have to ask what they did wrong you missed the point. They made an ADULT decision to misrepresent the company I am contracted to very boldly.
They were driving an exact replica of the van I operate so therefore I documented the fact so that if any backlash occurred I could prove that it was not MY van advertising in front of the toy store. I am not planning to play tattletale with any picture however have protected and would defend my honor.
I at least am smart enough to know my contract and not to shop in those places in my company van. I could care less what others do unless it relates to me and felt it did in that moment.

This happened last week not last year! He doesn't own my van. THEY DID NOT DELIVER THERE!
This has become ridiculous really and if its so important needs to be moved to its own thread since its totally gone off the rails from the original subject. I apologize to the OP.

When it occured makes no difference at all. And neither does who owns your van.. the point Dave was making is that you have no idea if that couple had business there or not...Maybe their son was the manager and they were in town and that is the only place they could visit him being in the business we are in and having limited time available....maybe they own the place as another "income stream"...or maybe they were there for lunch and to enjoy the show....but the point is, you have no idea way they were there....

Any Impugnment on your integrity, is strictly on your own part...

How they ''misrepresent the company'' ? In my opinion going in an adult store is not a big deal. It is a store like any other store. It is a free country I think. They did not do anything illegal.

I'm relaxed I just didn't appreciate the spin being put on my words. In my opinion I do not agree with the joyride that I witnessed. I too like porn, Everyone has a right to an opinion and I wouldn't have brought this up if there was an actual delivery being made, no disrespect to anyone.

Here is a prime example of where not to sit with Panther. I don't stay in Ft. Wayne. There is a Wally World in Auburn and you can get free wifi from the Staples store. Columbia City is another good place to sit. That whole corner west of I-69 and north of U.S. 30 is a great freight area.
