We wanted new seats for our truck so we saved our T Chek rebates for 6 months and bought new ones this month.
teamjdw told us to contact http://www.superior-seats.com to check out the deals they had.
We got 2 Excalibur leather http://www.superior-seats.com/seats/excalibur_big.jpg seats with shipping for less than $1200.
These are seats only and will fit on the bases we currently have with an adapter plate which the sell.
These seats have so much padding they make the Elite 80's look like a wooden chair.
I hope to get them mounted this weekend.

we replaced our factory seats with {seats brand } and love these also. anyways before you buy an adapter plate, place the seat on the base and look. ours matched up on two holes and all we had to do was drill two holes in the original base to make them fit. just fyi, might save you a few bucks. hope you enjoy. i know we have.

I got the seats installed today and they are super comfortable and luxurious. Just like in the picture.
It took 2 1/2 hours by myself. It would have gone quicker if someone had told me that I had to mount the adapter plates to the pedestal first and then the seat. The adapter plates came mounted to the seat so I thought I was supposed to install them that way. Live and learn.

sorry, but i have to ask, what is that ?

When we fuel using our T Chek card we get a discount that is added back onto our account. The pump price may be $3.89 and we are only be charged $3.71.

What I did is kept a running total of how much was added to our account as advances, minus what I was charged at the pump.
The difference between my account balance and the balance I get when I check at T Chek is the rebate.

So far this year we have gotten over $1400 in rebates.

I bought a new driver's seat there a few years ago - excellent place! They let me pick it up, instead of shipping it, which was nice.

It was less than $1200 for two seats. We used our old bases.

A comfortable butt is a happy butt!

That's true, but in this line of work, the seat is a tool, and tools are no place to go cheap. Being comfortable for many hours of driving is pretty important to me - if it's not comfortable, I will [even unconsciously] find reasons to avoid doing it.
Besides, it's tax deductible.

Great Trick to save money! I have done this in different ways and am always amazed that there is not pain involved just a reward.

To each his own, but i would not do that.
those fuel discount are cash money.
in my case they are going into my business checking account.
& here's why.
those are thousands of $'s a year that can be used to wipe off the highest interests charge in the business, like a business Credit Card, or a truck loan or APU payments,
lets say that such discounts comes to 300 $ a month. or 3,600$ a year.
by the end of the month we have a choice to send them to the business checking account, and used that money each month to pay a ,lets say, 15%apr loan.
that's 540 $ a year in addition business expenses.
no free money here.
sorry.

There are ways to use credit to your advantage, I try and secure the NO INTEREST IF PAID BY and religously get it paid before that date. Im going to look into this, Doesnt Ultra One give you these kinds of rebates,

In a NO INTEREST IF PAID BY DATE you are just having the interest built into the retail price. Although much better than paying interest this is a great time to ask for a cash discount.

They are just playing the odds, the majority will not pay in that time. Most if not paid in time you pay interest for the first free months too.
