New QC question

We just had the new QC installed and go back in service tomorrow.
When you are dispatched on a run does the delivery address automatically go to the GPS for routing or do you have to enter the address manually?
And, how often do you have to edit and approve your logs and send them in?
Thanks

When you open your navigation app you should find both the p/u and del options there, you just pick the one you want. On occasion they're missing but you can still put them in manually and you'll still have the written directions page by page as you did with the old unit.

As far as approving the logs, no one has told us if there's a set time to do that. The clink will remind you and that's usually when we do it.

I don't use the GPS app on the new C-Link. It is not altogether accurate, the screen is small, the buttons are even smaller, and I have to take my eyes off the road If I need to look at it. Also, the Gps lacks many features, such as speed, Points of Interest, weigh stations, state border crossings, speed limit changes, construction, etc.

I usually wait for the reminder, then go back as soon as I have a chance, and review/edit/approve.

The log edit feature is a little confusing at first, especially when you need to cut in a new entry.

Anyone using the load section of the logs?? I have found NOTHING from FedEx about whether or not is important to put the pro # on the log sheets........if they don't care, I don't either.

DOT requires the number.
