I have to say lonliness has never been an issue for me. When I was single & lived alone, & worked alone I could go days without actually talking to someone or having a meaningful conversation with any of my family or friends. It never bothered me at all.
I'm an only child, my Father worked alot & my Mother did her own thing,so I kind of meanderd along & kept myself entertained.
