You can't have the wife preping food while truck is moving. You can't eat driving down the road.

Is the wife buckled in while cooking ? Eating while driving can be distracted driving ! After 30 years of eating and driving I've learned to lessen the distraction. I often pick my menu to make it easier to eat. I've been guilty of all of this but in this day and age we've got to rethink all of our actions. Load offers, until more voice activated, could be a problem. I feel I need a secretary to dial my phone, etc.

Ryder requires a 30 minute break now, before this ever came out. Some hook it to their delivery time, splitting the two to cover the 30 minutes.

Exactly. The only difference for the Parkers will be logging the time they spent parked in the fuel lane.

California has had the 30 min break mando as well for quite some time but as we all know they do their own thing any way.
