New Energy Source

A friend of mine sent me a video from WKYC TV in Cleveland Ohio, about an inventor from Erie, Pa. who was looking for a cure for cancer, and during his research invented a machine that can actually burn seawater as an energy source. Has anyone seen it, or heard that story? It seems legit. I don´t know how to put up wmv. files on EO, but if you do, and can instruct me, I´ll save the story and put it up here for all to see.
It was an actual news story.

Ahh... this is not new - its been around since the 30's, I think some German scientist discovered it.

You know that they already market a unit that produces Brown Gas?

A long time ago in college, in some class on Physics or something like that we studied rf energy and its uses to extract different elements in chemicals, water being one of them, both fresh and sea water. Hydrogen is one element that could be extracted. The bigger question is how much energy is needed to do the extraction and what is the saline level needed to act as a catylist for the process to take place?

I don't know what great discovery this is or if he has obtain a patent, which he should not get, but having it for sale is somewhat of a stretch.

As for the cure for cancer, he is pursuing a treatment, not a cure and as a broadcast station owner he knows the 'secret' that has led him on the same path as others, I hope he is more successful.
