Need some driver input on this!

After being in the business for 2 years my wife and I left last May and returned to working in the "real" world, so to speak. We are thinking of returning to this biz, but we are wanting some good honest feedback from you guys who are still out there trying to make a go of it. Could you please tell me how the loads are? Are you guys making it or?? please let me know your thoughts on whats going on out there. thanks for your help!

it's like farming there are good years and bad years and so so years
i would stay home and enjoy it, but if you must , look at all the company's out here and then decide , also where do you live that would have make a different as how and when you would be able to get
home, and what kind of unit to you want to drive, and do you want to
drive for someone or own the truck or what ever. a good truck you may
be able to get into for 60,000 or do you want a great truck and sky
is the limit. stop and think of all the money that comes and goes
for run and staying out on the road, other things
big reason why did you come off of the road in the first place
think twice and then if you have to come on back
