Van driver based in central PA. Last July was super slow. This July seems just as slow if not worse. Is it me? Can't get a run to save my life!

It’s the July slowdown. Automotive plans are usually on a 2-3 week shutdown due to maintenance and line changeover. Hang in there, August should be a better month.

Yep. Been going on for years. Used to be when like 25-30 yrs ago everything auto related shut down. Even suppliers took the time off. That’s when everybody took vacation.

I don't know this for a fact, but I believe there are way too many current model year cars in inventory and the ramp up to the new model year is proceeding slower.
