I have a 2008 Sprinter box truck,18 f long and I got a question about geting this truck to work.
Do I need to keep a log?
Do I need a DOT approved sleeper?
Thank you for any advice.

What is the GVW on the sticker?

If it is a 9990 lbs, no log. If it is anything over 10,001lbs - you have to log.

if the truck is under 10,000 gvw you are not regulated by DOT or anyone else, the sleeper can be a cot or air matteress on the floor if thats all you want to do...now that said, it appears you are a newbie to this part of the industry...you really should read abck a few yrs worth of post here about what you can expect...this is not just having a truck and hauling freight from place to place....if you are not aware of what to expect, you really need to read here...this isn't for everyone..and also, not every carrier will sign cube vans on...something else you will find when you read back into the older post to see what others have asked ....
