Need Expert Expediting Advice

OK, the situation is: We live in NW Georgia,between Atlanta and
Chattanooga TN. My husband wants to buy a expediter truck... Like the FL-70. What would the best company be in this area (or any area) to contract with? He has been talking to Panther II but from what we've read in this forum,it's not a good thing to live in Ga and contract with Panther II.He will be doing this on his own. Will he be able to make good money? He's leaving an
industrial maintainance job making around $50,000 + benefits.
If he doesnt make atleast that after expenses I'm afraid he will be very disappointed. He is doing this for health reasons. He had
knee surgery and maintainance work is very hard on his knees.
What freight companies do not require 6 months to 1 year exp?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.Thanks, DJ

Dj, At this time i sugest your husband keeps the job he has. Things will get better sooner or later, but not isn't the right time to get into this line of work... Bob G.

I agree with Bob G.This is not the time to get into Expediting,he may be better off to drive a bit for a owner.This way he will see if this is the life for him.Best Of Luck-The Duke
