I'll be the last person to think "funny" of someone whom is challenged. However, audacity and arrogance is open season with me.

Ya just can't put words in others mouths. You can completely write it for them, but as hawk mentions that is doing no good for anyone.

But it is typical, when reading that type of ad, that one figgures that the thought process is something like - "I've run enough the last couple weeks" - that I can take three off to make up for it.

kinda reminds me of back when they made the welfare cuts in the late 90s and the government had classes to help people get jobs it was horrible they wear told basically to lie to get the job.

you would interview or hire somebody only to find out they did not know anything about what they said they did .when asked why they lied they would tell you that is what the lady down at DHD told them to say

I'm not talking about helping some bozo lie - frauds always get caught, sooner or later - I'm saying that some folks just aren't great at writing what would be an accurate description.
I'm glad I've never had to do it, and still don't \feel like laughing at the ones who do.
Oh, and if that last remark about taking time off was aimed at me, you're barking up the wrong tree, Col - I go home for Dr appts and Christmas, and that's about it. And I'll be picking up my next load later tonight, when it's ready.

I feel that "stewpid" demands for working conditions, and helping some bozo falsify are two completely different realms of your imagination. Ya gotta get them a little closer together missie. I believe the issue here wuz, unrealistic requirements for equipment, driving geography, etc., not writing ability or other things. Touchy feely is good. But, ya really need to get mor'n fifteen or so feet away from the diameter of your truck, loose the employee attitude, place yourself in an owners shoes who is about to watch a 150K truck go down the road with a couple folks whom have had "help" composing then tell us what you REALLY think.

If the "remark" bothers you, and the shoe fits, then wear it. If it don't fit, it's not (or shouldn't be) an issue. Right?
