Is it just me, or is anyone else sick of watching the replays of tapes from this grubby little nut case that killed 31 of his fellow classmates at Va Tech? Granted, it only takes watching a minute or two to realize that this kid was seriously demented and shouldn't have been allowed to exist among the general population. However, the degree to which NBC has played his diatribe goes beyond good judgement and common decency. I feel for the parents and relatives of all the kids that were killed or wounded having to see the face of this repulsive little (bleep) every time they turn on the TV. As NBC panders for ratings with this garbage, they give him exactly the glorification he knew he would get when he sent it to them. Not only do they play his game, but they encourgage other unstable misfits to commit the same unspeakable acts of violence in an effort to wreak vengance on their imagined transgressors and make themselves famous (actually infamous) at the same time. Maybe someday these news networks will do the right thing and portray people like this as they really are - the faces of evil that need to be shunned in disgrace.

I saw the video the entire thing on a freind's computer without the edits.

It was 'leaked' by NBC for some reason, it seems that they want to glorify this guy to make ratings. I listened to the guy incharge of NBC saying how tough of a decision it was for him - BS. there was no tough decision, Brian Williams and a few others probely told him that it needs to be aired to gt the killers perspective.

If I was in charge of NBC, I would have provided the police/FBI access and then bury everything. I would not have given anyone a look at this, I would not allow the 'professionals' to anylise this, I would have buried it to prevent anyone to copy him. It is just as bad if NBC stealing the footage of Erwin and airing his demise.

NBC is a problem like most media outlets. They think that they are the guardians of our country, of our way of life - THEY ARE NOT, WE ARE. No one gave them the right to be that guardian and our founding fathers never defined what a journlist is but now we have 'professionals' who are twisting our right to openly speak and openly discuss the events we live though by saying you, I or anyone who publish anything or post a video report is should not be allowed to broadcast it.

All the relentless media coverage by every single network, winds up sensationalizing the tragedy. No one in the official media has done any in depth analysis as to the real causes behind what produces such continuous carnage in America. Just pathetic hand-wringing, until the next unpleasant killing spree, and then do it again with non-stop coverage.
Reason: they have all been nothing more than mouthpieces and vendors of a steady diet of cop shows, violence, etc, etc, and covers for the violence conducted in the Mideast in the name of Democracy?? (read OIL).

Lately I haven't had to listen to any traditional media outlet...I have channel Greg334 on demand streaming 24 hours a day! Since the folks at Greg334 have stepped up programming the past few weeks I am getting informed on all kinds of subjects with their special brand of bias. What could be better than that?:7

Pilgrim I agree,NBC says we need to analyze this to see if we can learn anything by letting everyone watch this Garbage..Please it is all about ratings period.All of the main Scream Media claim they cant show the vidio from 9/11 because it would be insensitive to the Familys that lost Loved ones in Terrorist Attacks on this Country.The only reason they wont show the Pictures from 9/11 is because they are in lockstep with the Leftists in this Country trying to get us out of Iraq. CNN (Clinton News Network ) will recieve a Vidio from AlQueda showing Snipers shooting and Killing our Troops and they will show it,but thats not insensitive to Familys.Wake Up America before its to Late!The Media and the Democratic Party ( Socialists ) and some week kneeded Republicans are going to get us Killed if we dont stand up to this Threat.Harry Reed said we Lost this War,NO he is siding with the Terrorists and playing Politics with our Troops,what a Discrace.If People in this Country think that if the USA and Israel laydown our weapons that Islamo Facsists will leave us alone then we will be Fighting them here,so grab your weapons before the Democrats take them from us because you will need it!

Why do keep dissing on MI? You know another place where one can have two cities straddling that have a multitude of things to do? You can watch the Tigers, Red Wings, and go to Greektown, or across the river to an international, yet small city (where the best night-life is).
We also have the best hunting, fishing, boating, water & winter skiing and other outing activities available in many areas. Seems everyone comes from IN. or OH to use our areas. The climate is moderate compared to pancake IL. Now in my next life I think Nashville is awesome, I could live in or near there, easily.
