This is my first post ( Be gentle) lol Does anyone know anything about Nations Express and / or Bush Truck Leasing? I've signed up with Nations and they are helping me lease a truck through Bush.. The problem is that I sent my down payment to Bush 4 weeks ago, was told I would have the truck in the next couple of day and no truck has shown up yet.. Everytime I call I'm told it will be the next day...Any ideas would be greatly appericateds.. Any info on Nations would help too! Thanks in advance for your kindness..

I have talked with people at Bush Truck Leasing (assuming we are talking about the same company) and know them to have been around for a long time.

A financially-competent friend of mine once talked to them about a lease and had good things to say about them. He wasn't talking about how nice they were or how they treated him like family. He was talking about the nitty gritty contract terms and such. Things developed such that he did not need a lease so he never went further with Bush but he certainly would return to them if the need arose.

Regarding the situation you describe, several questions come to mind like:

To whom did you make the check payable?
Where is the truck now?
Who is telling you it will be available the next day?
Who actually owns the truck while it is being leased?

My goodness, I hope you got answers to questions like this before you dove in.

bush is a good company,i talked to them before buying my van.as far as nations express cant say.my figure is the truck may be far away or you might have to pick it up.that was my only thing with them.the closest truck that i was looking at with them was in il and i was in al.so they said it could take a few weeks to get it to me or i could come pick it up.but then i came across a good deal on a e350 ford that i couldnt turn down.but they have some good programs as far as maintance and ins.so i would use them if i ever need something.

Thanks for the advice.. The truck has shown up at Nations now.. They say there will be a 3 day wait for the paperwork to show up.. Been dealing with the recuiter at Nations and the dealer at Bush.. Was just getting a little worried.. thanks again

Yeah, Bush is on the up & up, I have dealt with them, but ultimately decided to lease from Penske.

I wouldn't quit worrying just yet. There are too many unanswered questions. Have you even seen the truck that you will supposedly lease?

You go four weeks without answers and then after putting up a post here late in the day you receive an answer almost instantly?

You need to be more suspicious. A delay in producing the paperwork is no different than a delay in producing a truck. So far, you have sent in your money and got nothing in return.

Wake up, man!

When I was contracted to RPS/FedEx Ground we leased/purchased trucks from a company called Bush Leasing they were from somewhere in OH. They filed for bankruptcy, I think it was in 2000 or somewhere in that time frame. That's all I remember just wanted to add my 2 cents. Good luck hope it all works out, probably just some paperwork glitch.

Bush truck leasing approves almost anyone in the trucking industry. If you have low credit you'll still get approved. They will charge you a high interest rate but you'll get a truck. If bush is your only option get it.
