National Truck Driver Appreciation Week 2013!

It is just about that time again. NTDAW starts Sept 15th this year!

At Load One we try to show our appreciation every day, but this week we try to do some extra special stuff. All events will be held back in the safety/recruiting building. We will have some fun games and other great activities as well. We will be raffling off prizes throughout the week to the fleet. As well we will also have a commemorative T-shirt again this year for all of our drivers! Here is what the schedule of events looks like so far:

Monday:

Continental Breakfast - coffee, juice, donuts, bagels, yogurt and fruit
Free Truck Washes from 9am to 1pm.
2nd Annual Flu Clinic and Health Fair from 8am-1pm.

Total Health Care has been great in setting this up for our company. They will be offering Flu shots to all employees and dependents 9yrs old and up as well as blood pressure and glucose testing.
Also for anyone who is not covered on our insurance plan and is interested in receiving the flu shot and screening, the company has offered to cover the costs so please take advantage of this opportunity.

Tuesday:

Continental Breakfast - coffee, juice, donuts, bagels, yogurt and fruit
Pasta and salad lunch!

Wednesday:

Hot breakfast buffet with all the fixings!!!!

Thursday:

Continental Breakfast - coffee, juice, donuts, bagels, yogurt and fruit
Free Truck Washes from 9am to 1pm.

Friday:

Continental Breakfast - coffee, juice, donuts, bagels, yogurt and fruit
Gourmet lunch boxes to go.

Thank you John and Load One for the breakfast, free truck wash and the green shirt this morning.Those green safety shirts are nice as one does not have to wear a safety vest and LEOs can visually confirm seat belt usage while wearing the green shirt.
