They did more then that Xiggi....they facilitated a crime of speeding as well, besides the crime of no permit...by advising cars to tape over license plates...to avoid prosecution....they should go to the wall...

My point was that helping someone break the law isn't what got them in trouble. It was a joke.

As bad as it is, it doesn't make the radar when chips are misusing their tasers, disregarding the 2nd amendment, etc.

True, but I just thought you would want to see this.

See that, even tho I don't agree with people on the extend of the problem, I always look for stories others may like.

Read the article and it sounds like it wouldnt have been such a big deal if it was not reported by a "bystander".
Code for liberal, tree hugging, occupy looser who lacks the motivation to do something with his/her government supported life. Will not get a job or put some skin in the game and start a business on his/her own and posiably be sucessfull enough own one himself.

Or even be able to apreciate a machine like those.

Maybe it wouldn't have been a big deal in NJ, where the Gov was injured in an accident a few years ago while speeding enroute to a very important appointment [a radio show]. and the State Trooper was driving waaaay above the legal limit, but it is a big deal to those of us who believe the law applies to the cops and the politicians as well as the rest of us.

You left out the word 'robust', and no string of cliched soundbytes & buzzwords is complete without it, but otherwise managed to hit every right wing extremist assumption in one sentence. The fanatics should be proud of your clever interpretation of the word 'bystander', but I'm wondering is there oxygen on your planet?

It would seem that NJ is NOT as bad as the state of MA is. In MA drunken Kennedy's can drive off of bridges, kill someone, and get away with it. NJ sounds good compared to that.

New Jersey LEO's have always felt they were better than the rest of us.

WAYNESBORO -- A speeding New Jersey police convoy should not have been warned to slow down here, its superiors say, despite numerous 911 calls from motorists claiming they were forced off Interstate 81.

An incensed New Jersey sheriff called an Augusta County deputy a "disgrace" for pulling over officers returning home from a Hurricane Katrina relief mission Sept. 18.

Augusta Sheriff Randy Fisher and the Virginia State Police defend the stop because the New Jersey officers were traveling 95 mph with their lights flashing.

The "incensed NJ sheriff" in the story is Passaic County Sheriff Jerry Speziale, who was incensed because "law enforcement is all about supporting each other".
This man is a disgrace, and ought to be stripped of his position AND required to refund all monies received from taxpayers who elected him to be a Law Enforcement Officer, not a Law Breaking Enabler, [long as the law breakers are his people.]

In MA you can be a drunken, womanizing, murderer and be loved and revered for it. Even be elected to high office, for decades. It would seem that in MA you can get away with almost ANYTHING if your last name is Kennedy. Of course that is just A OK as long as your rich or spout the liberal gospel.

In New Jersey you are bad if you flaunt traffic law. I can see where that is FAR worse than killing someone and running away.
