You fight your battles and I fight mine. I fought this one for 20 years, old habits die VERY hard. I find it AMAZING just how many are willing to just roll over on this. NO questioning, just accept it. How sad that SO many DIED to give you all FREEDOM and now so MANY are just willing to throw it all away.

Maybe I'm having brain lock today, I'm not sure, but could you explain to me how you perceive this healthcare plan to be unconstitutional? I am not for it, but not on constitutional grounds...I don't really see where it has anything to do with the constitution.

I do believe a National Healthcare system is illegal as it supercedes states rights...

It is illegal in Canada thou....it is the provinces that manage the healthcare...

The Tenth Amendment forbids the Federal Government from superceeding the states and the people. The PEOPLE have the power in the United States. UNLESS the Constitution STATES that it is a Federal government responsibility it is NOT legal for the Feds to do it. LIKE, the Federal Government REQUIRING a FREE CITIZEN to purchase ANYTHING!!

The Constitution was written to LIMIT the government. Under our way the Feds have NO RIGHT to do ANYTHING!! Ony the STATES and the PEOPLE have RIGHTS and the RIghts of the PEOPLE trump those of the State.

EVERYTHING that the Federal government does, EVERY law IS subject to Constitutional muster. The Constitution ALWAYS applies.

BUT the Feds CAN mandate that states have a healthcare program set-up and help fund it...that is what Canada did...

That I am NOT sure of, but that is NOT what is being done here. Not to mention the other "goodies" in the bill that FORCE this on the PEOPLE, WHICH the Federal Government has NOT the authority to do!!

You right the Feds can NOT set-up and run a National Program all by itself....that over rides States rights to self determination..

Also, IF you read the bill there are GOODIES like "community based" groups that can "CHECK" to insure proper excerise and things like that. The POTENTIAL for abuse is beyond belief, well not for me anyway. I put NOTHING past a leftist.

Fedex regulated your work which in turn regulates to some degree your life....so you complied/ submitted to authority.

So you accept partial control over your life?

Don't forget social security withholdings just about as unconstitutional as health care withholdings will be. Maybe being a FREE MAN he will turn down those benefits when he is eligible.
