What station/music do you listen to when rolling down the road?

Lawrence,

Music soothes the savage beast - unless it's polka.

Going to church makes you a Christian about as much as standing in the garage makes you a car

None - when I'm home, I burn CDs of all kinds, and then I can listen to whatever I like, commercial free :) :) :)

Oooops - just saw the '/music' part of the question. Lately, I've been really enjoying blues guitar, (BB King, Buddy Guy), and bluegrass guitar, (Chet Atkins, Les Paul), and a terrific Texan named Robert Earl Keen (thanks to Moot, who sent me some CDs). It's all good! :)

I guess I'm odd. Hard rock, usually from the 80's or today. I love 80's rock. And old tme trucker music, like Red Sovine and others... The Soundtrack from "Black Dog" is a good one too.

MLB Home Plate XM 175 mostly, but also Fox, CNN, Air America, America Right, 700 WLW, Jazz, Classical, Blues, Deep Tracks and Top Tracks, top 40 stuff, 50's and 60's stuff, Cuban and Latin, Public Radio, you name it. When I'm really bored I might even listen to Oprah and Friends. OK, not really.

If it wasnt for my XM i dont know if i can handle the truck and be sain at the same time.

I listen to all music. My xm is usually on Liquid Metal(42) or sometimes Squizz(48). I will also listen to the rap station, country, oldies, all the decades, just about all the rock stations. I will also listen to some classical, the XM Kids station (there is some good jams on there like the crazy frog and spongebob and such). I listen to the trucker channel (mostly for BOZO) and also the commedy stations. So there really isnt any music i dont listen to.

Speaking of music...I like classic rock and some of the newer stuff. Like Cheri, I have burnt a lot of cd's that I will use when I actually get in the biz. But...I had a friend point something out to me recently. They are starting to make stereos for your truck/car that have a usb port (like those on computers) that you can plug a jump drive into that contains all of your music. I will get a 4 gig jump drive and that will hold all 500 or so songs I have. Will still carry my cd's though just incase the jump drive goes belly up.

Don't worry Broom... I know you aren't going back to Sirius ;)

Of course, I listen to football. But even I can get bored of just football chat. Sirius 70's, 80's, trucker's channel (147), still listen to right-wing stuff once in awhile (144), bluegrass, and jazz. Found something Terry might remember... classic radio (118), where they play old detective stories, Green Hornet, Lone Ranger, Gunsmoke, etc. It's a nice change of pace, and cheaper than buying books on tape.

Classic Rock mostly...but sometimes I get in the mood for Country, jazz,Blues or talk show. Mostly it's whatever will keep me awake at that moment.
