they say alot of things. with oil being as good as it is today and with regular service intervals, i dont see a need for additives. to many other ways to get fuel mileage up that are proven. i use no additives regularly. i will put in power services when called for and occasionally use howes meaner cleaner, like once every 3 mo. but thats it. im getting a solid 10 plus mpg now depending on conditions. that includes my generator idle time. its more about the tune on the engine than what additives you put in it.

Thanks

U can research it on google or www.bobistheoilguy.com Imo u can do the same thing with marvel mystery oil or the latest out here is to use supertech 2 cycle oil in the blue bottle with the additive called tcw3, add 5oz to every gallon of gas. If u have a diesel, marvel mystery oil will only work on the older model diesels, but go to their website to be sure.

I would go to bobistheoilguy first,,tons of info on diesels, additives, oil, engine help and so on.

Most of it is snake oil, remember slick 50 used to be all that.
now you don't even hear about it. Regular oil changes are what is needed

The folks involved with Slick 50 were actually brought up on fraud charges and, if I'm not mistaken, convicted.

It's all snake oil. I just laugh when I hear people say, "so and so uses Lucas and got xxxx miles out of his engine." News flash!! People are doing it without using additives!
