The cost/profit is comparable for everyone that buys the same or similar truck and operates in the same manner. Vans cost less to buy and operate than a straight truck but they earn less money overall, and most likely have less profit at the end of the year. A typical straight truck will cost twice as much as a van and grosses approximately twice as much revenue.
