As far as costs...what do yall think is the most profitable, cargo van or straight truck? How many people get more than one vehicle? Or a fleet of trucks? Could be a lot of money in this I would think? Also, what company is good if I want to do Team? Thanks from a newbie

Facitious answer? No, just an example of the level of difficulty of your questions because of the variables involved. The cost/profit is comparable for everyone that buys the same or similar truck and operates in the same manner. Vans cost less to buy and operate than a straight truck but they earn less money overall, and most likely have less profit at the end of the year. A typical straight truck will cost twice as much as a van and grosses approximately twice as much revenue. The best way, in my opinion, to evaluate for yourself is to go back a couple of months in the archives of this site and check out the posts related to your interests then come back with as many specific questions as you can dream up.
