More Republican election fraud

Agreed, Obama must go.

Ron Paul is more annoying than a restaurant full of flies. He would take credit for sunrise and sunset. Many of his followers seem to believe Ron Paul sculpted the Statue of Liberty.... had hand stitched the first rendition of Old Glory himself... dipped his feather as a quill to personally write the Declaration of Independence...witnessed a notary public validate the Magna Carta...and publicly foretold the coming of Jesus Christ.

Consider the likelihood Ron Paul is a second-rate sloganeering pimp.

And some people are just so full of their neo-con selves, if they fart, their glasses fog.

The Alaska GOP apparently capitulates (email at the end of the article):

Alaska Pride: Ron Paul Campaign Accuses Alaska Republican Party Of Obstructing And Disenfranchising Ron Paul Delegates, Litigation Not Excluded

Hopefully now the good (Republican) citizens of Alaska will (shortly) do the correct thing and purge their state party of the miscreant, corrupt criminal scum Reudrich .... and run him out of the state on rails ....

Then we can add his besmirched name to the ever-growing list of State Republican Party chairmen and chairwomen that have, in the last six months, subsequently resigned after presiding over the functional equivalent of electoral train wrecks ....

Heya Dave,

You might wanna keep an eye on ol' Ben Swann over there at WXIX in Cincy - he posted this on his Facebook account about 10 hours ago:

"As you all know, I have been closely watching the shenanigans and in some cases outright fraud taking place in the delegate caucuses. A lot is happening in Alaska right now.. Just want you to know that I am in touch with people on the ground there... all I can tell you at this point is that a very big story is coming out in a couple of weeks. Wish I could say more... but timing is sensitive."

(See there: Fox News isn't always bad .... in fact, the quality seems to improve in direct relation to the increase in distance away from the greasy fingers of Roger Ailes ....)

As I said before, I as well think he has some good ideas. But, that is much different than whether he is a electable candidate. At this point, not even close.
But it sounds like you see the much bigger picture and don't fall for all the other foolishness.
In the same camp. "anyone but Obama". Worry about the rest of it after that.

No, worrying about it later is too late. We don't need another war... this one with Iran, and possibly its allies. Romney will give us that, Obama will give us that. Paul won't. One more term of the same as usual crowd will likely put us on a road we'll never turn back from. I'd rather not see that.

Yup .... and it's not so much that we just don't need it (however true) .... we simply won't survive it ....

And if anyone thinks "war" is necessarily only armed conflict, please do try and be a just little more imaginative ....

"Election fraud has always been, ftmp, the province of the Demon-crats, but the Republicans are catching up."

I think the BEST part of this entire thread was the first sentence! That was FUNNY! This stuff has been going on from day one and will go on as long as politics exist. The best we can ever hope to do is limit and try to control it. The idea that one party is better at it or been doing it longer is FUNNY!

Freudian slip ? .....

On air, it's Obama vs. Paul

By ALEXANDER BURNS | 4/19/12 2:57 PM EDT

As the political world girds for a general election match-up between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, the airwaves are telling a different story: going by TV ads alone, you might think the campaign was between the president and Ron Paul.

That's because Mitt Romney pulled down his commercials after Rick Santorum dropped out of the Republican primary and Newt Gingrich can't afford to spend money on paid media. That leaves only Paul shelling out cash on the Republican side, as Obama airs TV ads targeting Hispanic voters in several states.

Paul is spending about $110,000 on commercials right now: $40,000 in Rhode Island, which holds its primary on Tuesday, and just under $71,000 on ads in Texas running April 23-29. He has already been up in Texas for days.

Even some of Paul's most die-hard supporters have begun to come around to the reality that this is probably the year he'll win the Republican presidential nomination, but as long as some of those activists keep donating to the campaign, Paul may be able to maintain a baseline-level presence on TV.

The more they are on TV with their silly commercials, the less I pay attention to them, ALL of them, party does NOT matter.

Pretty much a slip unless he knows something the rest of the world doesn't. As for TX, latest I've seen was Romney polling in the 30's and Paul below ten. That is likely why you don't see Romney spending any money there. Might change if a string of results show something else.
I would see little reason to send a check to any candidate for them to have future tv time.
Politics has too much money in it as it is.

One that couldn't be gamed apparently:

"A few weeks back, when Rick Santorum was arguing that he could power out delegate wins by organizing the little-noticed state conventions and caucuses, I agreed with him. And then Santorum quit. This left the state delegate pool hot and panting for Romneymentum, right?

Not quite yet. Over the weekend, Minnesota held congressional district conventions. Now, the state's February caucus -- one of the trio of non-binding contests Santorum won early that month -- went 45 percent for Santorum, 27 percent for Paul, and only 17 percent for Romney. The Associated Press and other groups went on to estimate that Santorum would win 17 of Minnesota's delegates, Paul would win 10, and Romney 6. Wrong. Ron Paul dominated the CD conventions. According to a tweet from RNC committeewoman Pat Anderson, Paul took 20 of the 24 delegates available in the CDs.

That's 20 delegates more than the zero that Paul got from Minnesota in 2008. Keep watching this. The Paul movement spent five years prepping for a guerilla delegate campaign, and they're going to be the last Republicans who refuse to settle for Romney. This was the point of Paul's non-alignment pact with the frontrunner. With Santorum out and Gingrich staggering like an extra in Re-Animator, Paul's movement is free to take over the state contests."

Video of Lori Sotelo, King County (WA) GOP Chair attempting to shut down the 37th district caucus (illegally) at Seattle's Dimmitt Middle School .... simply because Tamara Smilanich (a known Ron Paul supporter) had been fairly and legally elected as permanent caucus chair .... rather than Lori's handpicked "establishment" choice.

Sotelo allegedly did this by calling the insurance company and asking them to revoke the insurance that the King County GOP had obtained for the event. Apparently Sotelo made a number of other attempts to shutdown the caucus, which were not caught on this particular video (.... but may have been on others ....)

The irony of the above was that after having initially notified potential attendees before the event that there would be a "voluntary" $10 donation requested (ostensibly to cover the insurance), the attendees found on arriving at the caucus Saturday morning that the fee was now mandatory (without any prior notification) .... so, in reality, Sotelo (allegedly) cancelled the insurance the attendees themselves were paying for ....

She also allegedly attempted similar shenanigans at the caucus for 11th District, which she personally ran, and the 34th District .... but the participants would have no part of it, and proceeded to caucus .... and shut out Mitt Romney from receiving any delegates or alternates whatsoever in both Districts ....

Despite Sotelo's corrupt attempts at disenfranchisement and subverting people's right to vote, the caucus for the 37th District maintained a quorum and concluded successfully .... outdoors on a basketball court ....

BTW - Ms. Sotelo has also been to court recently .... for alleged vote tampering in the King County straw poll ....

(Note: Sotelo appears on the right in the video)

Additional details on this and other Romnestablishmentarian shenanigans can be read on Doug Wead's blog:

Maybe this would get more attention if the hack(I'm being nice here) O'keefe was dressed up like a pimp and had some hookers around his arms video taping this. Or maybe if it was posted on Drudge, Breitbart.com or maybe Front Porch Politics:rolleyes:, then, just maybe it would get more attention. Especially here in the Soapbox.
