Military spooks for Ron Paul

Why would anyone attempt to buttress their argument referencing some lame-brain blog? Blogs, by and large, are a joke. Blogs certainly aren't an authoritative source. Many of these Ron Paul supporters act with too much desperation. It plays right into the stereotype that Ron Paul supporters come from fringe elements.

Truth is, Ron Paul is a fringe candidate. Get over it. Running on the Libertarian Party ticket for US President in 1988, Ron Paul garnered a whopping 0.5% of the popular vote. That's one-half of one percent!

Likewise, the Libertarian Party is a fringe player on the American political landscape. The United States has a two-party system. We don't build coalitions around tiny marginal players like the Libertarian party or the Green Party. If you don't like either of the two major parties, that's fine. Doom yourself to the endless frustration of irrelevancy. In the meantime, please... avoid cringe-worthy blog references.

Really?

Seriously??

What most post in this part of the forum seems to be coming from blogs - from the Obama used too much toilet paper at camp david from those who seem to speak to the same clique on here to the "mexican" truck thread in the general forum which isn't a Mexican truck at all or no real proof of it.

So I have to ask the same question, why would anyone buttress their argument referencing some lame-brain conservative fringe blogs?

If someone references blogs as an authoritative source, that's on them. It is not a practice I follow.

I agree, you don't but others do and everyone seems to support/defend those types of threads as much as they do with these types of threads.

No matter how anyone wants to look at it, if Ron Paul seems gaining in the polls among any segment of the republican party, it either indicates that his ideas are gathering momentum or that the republican party and those who count themselves as "conservatives" are not producing any new ideas for the problems we face. I think it may be both.

Today's little email headline came from the AP, not the best credible source but it will have to do - GOP congressmen want to let the payroll tax cut to expire. IT is rather interesting that we see this at this time when the party they represent has been telling the tea party people to sit down and shut up while compromising on all the wrong things. Could this be another reason why Obama may have a great chance of a second term?
