Whoodabelieved it? There I was, waiting for a load in Brownsville to take to Ford in Canada, and this beautiful truck is parked behind me. (I suppose compared to my truck, they are all beautiful. LOL).
The driver and his lovely wife were very friendly and we talked a bit. We got talking about Wi-Fi and I was asked if I ever went to ExpeditorsOnline. Well, of course!!! That's when I found out I was talking with the infamous Davekc and his wife!!!!
Dave and his wife are the first expeditors I've met in person from this web site. I talk with TourBusBob all the time on the phone, but have never met him.
It made the wait for the load a little easier to deal with, having them to talk with. They left before me, but I drove past them on Texas 77 while they were in a rest area. Then, met up with them at a fuel stop at exit 56 on I-37 and then, again, at the Flying J in Texarkana!!! I was wondering if I would ever lose them?!?!?!?!?!
If all you expeditors are as nice as they were to me, I look forward to meeting you all. Dave's wife (I neglected to ask her name) offered me a cold soda cause she thought my decrepit truck didn't have a cooler. That was just too nice of her!!!
