I'm not going to get into a p*****g contest over this. It is blatantly obvious of the lack of knowledge of how the military works. I'm not going to waist my time explaining it, look it up.

The last thing I will say is EVERY vet provides you the freedoms you enjoy!

I agree golfer, as a veteran of 2 conflicts the general attitude of most makes me want to puke. Those of you saying that vets don't deserve somethings upon return, have you served? Do you know what its like waking up in the middle of the night sweating and screaming? Probably not, but you know what? That is what makes this country great, you are allowed your opinion no matter how stupid it is.

I don't think anyone said a thing about not giving them what they need when they get back...I think limited benefits to fit the job description was mentioned..... from a desk jockey in DC that gets a pencil sliver is a whack different then a combat soldier...

Most of the latest wars have nothing to do with our freedom...we are fighting for others freedoms....Libya, Iraq..

There is a saying that they drill into your head as soon as you report to bootcamp. No matter your mos you were a soldier first. What that means for those who don't know is that when we are involved in conflict, it matters nothing if you are a clerk or a janitor, you were trained to fight and that is what you shall do. God bless our troops and our vets.

I understand that..you are a team...integrated together one needs the other to be successful....personally I think our elected reps should be treated as our returning troops...maybe things would get even better...
