Another day..... Well you know how the story ends.

Made it to my delivery a couple hours early at about 4 am this morning surprised to find a full crew working. The security guard made a phone call and 3 or 4 people showed up, thanking me, shaking my hand, telling me how happy they were to see me...lol. I don't know what was in that drum, but apparently it was an important part of their operation!...lol.

One thing I've learned in expediting, we never know when what we are carrying is truly going to save somebody's day. It is what we all do.

Took a little trip down to Toledo Ohio this morning to get the Sprinter checked out. As I half expected, a problem with the egr valve. What I didn't expect was the issue to be electrical and not mechanical. Replaced egr and all systems are a go

Just delivered my first load for the day. Sitting at the shipper for load two, waiting for them to open.

Looks like a broke gear, so their installing a new set. Price in the $800 area, does this sound reasonable? It did to me.

They didn't recommend replacing just one, price for a new pair was $400, plus new rod and labor around $800 grand total.
