Say that again.

He doesn't hear it very often. Particularly in the Soapbox, his favorite hangout.

I don't hear, period. :p

Besides, the Soapbox is NOT my favorite "hangout". I prefer the "Straights of Detroit" myself. (The Detroit River for those who failed geography) My second favorite hangout is Lake Eire, followed by my "favorite tree".

Drove by the Bordentown NJ Petro earlier and it looked like a Fedex convention out in the front lot, only saw one Panther straight. Anyone on here camped out there, may be back that way later on.

Manchester, TN. Wish it was England, not Tennessee :D At least up there I'd have the chance to watch a soccer game ;)

That's not a bad spot to be, close to Toledo Dayton and Fort Wayne

Ive gotten two offers this week for loads in Mi, and I agree, I thought this was a good area, but so far nothing has come through yet. I know im 35-40 miles from Toledo, 95 miles from Detorit

At home drinking a glass of wine!

But don't think for a minute that this has been a fun trip home! We are getting ready to list our home for sale. We have been painting, cleaning carpets, spreading mulch. We are both tired and sore. Need to get back to work to get some rest.

My back hurts really bad! Need another glass of vino! :)

I know where I'm supposed to be but I'm not there. I should be on the shores of Bowstring lake in Northern Minnesota waiting for the start of the 2013 fishing season at midnight. The ice hasn't gone out on Bowstring yet, same for all the other lakes in the northern third of the state. I wish Al Gore would run that global warming stuff by me one more time. I'm still having some difficulty buying into it. It is after all May 10th and Northern Minnesota lakes are still covered in ice. Al baby, come to Minnesota, bring your ice auger and punch a few holes for me. I wanna fish and use parts of you for bait.

Don't know if they'd like Al Fish.

Depends on where we are at. It also depends on how the load offers are, or are not, showing up.

...

Big wreck up there today. The QEW was closed, and still may be, from KM57 to where 406 comes in. BOTH WB and EB. had a long detour to get around it to the bridge.

Amen to that...it all depends. I'm in the Toronto area for the night, dropping tomorrow, with a shorty round trip load from the Buffalo area that I accepted first thing this morning, while sitting here in Toronto.

The run that originally brought me up here originated near KC; over 1,000 miles. I thought I might sit longer after dropping that one, so accepted the shorty, and got paid nicely for all miles down and back.

I've let dispatch know I'll go anywhere in Canada but will expect extra pesos to get back out of remote Canada. All Canadian runs pay a higher loaded rate too, which includes all miles both in US and Canada, even if just running twenty miles across the border. So, far as I'm concerned, I like coming up into Canada and driving roads I have either never driven or haven't been on in decades.

Oh, managed to miss the big wreck on the QEW today, headed the way I was, and just narrowly missed a bad one this evening coming back in big rain.
