After a great week last week(thinking things are back on track)I delivered in Alabama and went over to Newnan Georgia and sat for nearly 5 days with someone under bidding both of the companies I work for on numerous loads.........Now I sit in corbin KY and if nothing by 5 I will be on my way home with a empty week.
Now this makes me wonder whats going on???????????????????

Fargo, after coming through one of the weirdest, wildest, heaviest wet snowstorms I've ever been in, from Mason City Iowa north almost to The Cities. I managed to run a good length of the storm as it moved across 35.
Over 100 miles of crawling one lane through huge soaking wet flakes. Then as sharp a line as one can imagine it stopped completely and the roads were dry. Even the weathermen on the radio said it was the freakiest thing they've seen. Some towns got up to a foot. Was coming down so thick and wet I had to stop a few times just to clear my headlights from a thick coat of the mess so I could see at least a few yards ahead in the dark.

If you can't get anything on Monday or Tuesday, your already loosing your momentum. Once you do that your done.. enless a miracle comes through. It's Thursday, I've had one small load to cover personal get around town fuel and my OC fees... I'm afraid I will sit around today and maybe tomorrow. Who knows I might get another 100mile load. I think I will just start taking the 1st week off of every month.

Two days can make your entire week and be better than running 6 days. You never know when freight will break where you are.

Well I think I'll head back into Louisville and get a nice shower and a bite to eat. Rural KY not my thing. This job is turning into a casino gamble everyday with your location

That's the best kind of sleep. Love waking up from snoozes like that.
Monday: Chicago to Toledo. Sat in Toledo until Weds afternoon, then deadheaded to Meadville, PA to visit family. That did the trick, I hope. Erie, PA to Louisville. Now at Pilot in Simpsonville, KY. Night y'all
