At home, packing my bags .... 6am Tuesday we fly to Seattle to get on the Carnival Spirit for the cruise to Alaska and back.

Already checked the 10 day forecast, looks like jeans and sweatshirts .... but I'm ready!

Very good friends of our took this trip a couple of years ago and are still talking about it. FANTASTIC trip. As stated take lots of pictures.

Look for the resident pod of orcas near Octopus Marine Park, & Johnstone Strait. Beautiful, take your breath away scenery!

The cruise begins in Seattle, and takes a straight run to Skagway, then back through Juneau and Ketichian, (sp), then a final stop on Victoria Island, BC

I checked the weather, I wont be wearing the same duds we take to Aruba each January!
